ENCLAVE

HOW IT WORKS

The Enclave system is for the encouragement of cross faction interaction, to have push and pull to keep roleplay rolling. This is a Big Risks / Big Rewards type of system, meaning the more factions and their leaders take a risk that could jeopardize their in-character source of income, social standing, underground reputation, ect. then the more rewards they gain both IC and OOC. The maps below will be updated as submitted scenes are reviewed.

How do I submit a scene?

Only Faction Leaders or the person(s) in second command may submit scenes for review. The form can be found in the Faction Leader channel in Discord.

What kind of scene qualifies?

There is no set parameters for qualification but some examples are IC agreements between Faction Leaders, battles between faction members, an IC exchange of buying off sections from other factions, or simply wiping out the other faction entirely to lay claim to their territory. Any IC interaction can be submitted for review after the Faction Leader determines if it is a legitimate play for area.

Why do the Leaders of all involved Factions have to agree?

Just like any other scene consent must be given by all parties involved, otherwise bad actors will try to take over the entire sim.

What if a Faction Leader continuously doesn't give consent?

This is why the Big Rewards part of system exists. The more Faction Leaders play along, allowing give and take, the more they will be recognized and rewarded, not only them but their members as well. This encourages good leadership and good sportsmanship. Those that won't play along will have to contend with their story and event proposals being denied. To be completely clear: Not every territory push needs to be accepted to avoid negative repercussions. But those that continually deny consent without plausible cause will not have a great time.

What does Big Rewards mean?

The Faction Leaders and members that play nicely are given 'influence points' on a backend spreadsheet, a simple tallier that shows just how often they have been good players. There is no 'redeem point table' or thresholds of 'x points = z action approved', it is just a tracker to ensure no good deed is forgotten. The more people play along the more they will be allowed bigger, more influential scenes with impactful changes.

REIGNING FACTIONS
